OPENIT FESTIVAL

OPENiT Festival is an open, green Guerilla Festival. Located in Kreuzberg, one of Berlin's most multi-cultural boroughs. OPENiT is about hacking the city, opening it, experimenting within it and together invent an open source, green and economically sustainable future, starting with the festival by transforming the location through the festival itself.

OPENiT Festival was initiated by Open Source Economist Lars Zimmermann and his ideas around an Open Source Economy. Designing an identity that worked with the poster invitation for the festival, as well as the website was my way of supporting the event. Additionally I directed a short video presentation of the idea creating the first work of Ottilie & Friends Productions featuring  Adam Sevens.

During the preparations we were lucky to work with the environmentally friendly, sustainable Berlin-based printery Oktoberdruck, whose staff kindly supported the project by printing the posters for free from left-over recycling paper stacks.
